Touré's organic unrefined argan oil is cold-pressed, ethically sourced and harvested by local villagers. It is chemical free, cruelty-free animals and has no GMOs. The 'cold press' refers to the method of extraction. When oils are cold pressed, they have been made without any chemical or heat interference whatsoever; the nut or seed, or in this case, kernel, is pressed until an oil is expressed. This way, all of the nuts' natural goodness is left undisturbed and it keeps all of its amazing skin benefits. Other methods of extraction involve chemicals or processes of heating and cooling, which are significantly cheaper and less labour-intensive, but destroy many of natural ingredients' amazing properties, leaving them significantly less beneficial.
